Automated Data Systems offers DSL connections and Residential Telephone services through ACME Communications, Inc. Call for specials and discounts on phone lines and DSL connections.

DSL connections: $26.95*

Signing up for a dial-up account will provide you with a connection at 56K speeds. Come in to our offices or call(if paying by credit card) to sign up. You will need to provide your name, address, phone number and method of payment. A username and password will be requested upon sign up. Below are helpful hints to selecting a username and password.

Dial-up connections: $15.00/month
Extra Email Accounts: $5.00/month each

To configure your computer with a ADS internet service, you can bring in your tower and we will set it up for free, or you can install it through our ADSNET Browser and Dialer Setup CD**. You may also install it yourself by using our phone support.

Hints and tips for selecting a username and password:

• Normally usernames are selected based on your first and last name. (ex. John Doe = jdoe). If for a family you can try and use your last name only.
• You can also try a hobby or something that distinguishes you. (ex. SoccerGod@adsnet.com)
• Due to the popularity of the internet many usernames are taken so it is suggested to think of other alternatives to the first one you select. When getting ADS internet a long time ago, we selected the first two first name initials of every sibling in the family. Also, if you like the username you selected, but it isn't available, add the month and day of your birthday.
• Passwords NEED to be unique. Never use your social security number. Never have your password the same as your username. Don't use a word that can be found in the dictionary. The most secure passwords are passwords with letters and numbers in them. Try combinations of pets, maiden names, kids names, birthdays, anniverseries, or special occasions.
• Did you know that a phrase can be your password? They are almost impossible to hack also. Password limitations are up to 15 characters and you cannot use spaces in the phrase so "Iknowcomputers" would be a valid password.
