Spam Filtering:

*Note: Creating the message rules below may filter wanted emails as well as unwanted emails. Typically emails sent in mass in the form of newsletter may be considered under the filter rules.

The filtering system shown below will work for any email program, but will be described through Outlook Express. Below are the keywords needed to block spam if you wish to do it yourself. If you feel uneasy about doing this, call our technical support (219)879-6600 and we would be happy to walk you through.

Filter Keywords:

X-IMail-SPAM-Phrase
X-IMail-SPAM-Statistical
X-IMail-SPAM-URL-DBL
X-IMail-SPAM

Instructions for Outlook Express:

1.) In Outlook Express, click on the Tools menu, go to Message Rules and then click on Mail.

2.) In the first box place a checkmark next to "Where the subject line contains specified words" and then in the second box, "Delete it".

3.) In the third box click on the underlined words "contains specific words". Enter one of the phrases from above and then click Add.

4.) Repeat for other keywords. You may also use this method for any emails your are receiving that do not fall under spam if needed.
